betterlook.pbi

betterlool.pbi is a tiny library that enables PB developers to easily create (or modify existing) PB apps to give them a more modern look.

Here is a first "Hello World" test demo! (Note that most UI elements are inactive in this version)

Notes:

• Please do not expect an Electron alternative or a full UI framework.
• Code is currently not DPI aware. It shouldn't be too hard to implement though.
• By default, the library uses gadget and image numbers in the 500-600 range. Keep this in mind to avoid overlapping numbers.
• The library works best for fixed-size, single window applications. It's probably not suitable for more complex cases.
• Supported OS and PB versions:
  • Windows: 10 and 11 (x86 and x64)
  • PureBasic: 5.6+ and 6.0
